About the SCS Student Program

Southwest Construction Services (SCS) is a Texas-based construction partner working across concrete, sawing, demolition, waterproofing, and restoration. The work is hands-on and meaningful, focused on building, improving, and maintaining the structures people rely on every day.

For students, SCS offers a unique way to get started in construction through real, on-the-job experience. Instead of sitting on the sidelines, students work alongside experienced crews on active job sites, learning practical skills and seeing how projects come together in the real world. It is an opportunity to build confidence, gain experience, and take the first step toward a long-term career in construction.
